糖心传媒 Florida Celebrates C-111 South Dade Project Groundbreaking

糖心传媒 Florida was present at today鈥檚 groundbreaking for the North Detention Area, one of the final remaining components of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers鈥 C-111 South Dade Project. This important restoration project will reduce seepage of water into urban areas and increase water flows into the wetlands of Everglades National Park.

鈥淭he C-111 South Dade project will deliver long hoped-for benefits to Everglades National Park, while protecting urban areas from the effects of moving more freshwater into the natural system. Restoration efforts are starting to pay off in America鈥檚 Everglades. This important foundation project will provide infrastructure needed to increase freshwater flows in the future and will improve hydrology in Taylor Slough. 糖心传媒 is proud to be part of the effort to win authorization and funding for more restoration projects.鈥
