Olympic Bird Festival

Sequim, WA; April 10-12

Each year, with the help of local ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ chapters and the Jamestown S’Klallam tribe, birders take over the northern Olympic Peninsula. There are field trips along the coast and evening hikes into the owl-rich foothills.

Lesser Prairie-Chicken Festival

Woodward, OK; April 15-22

Come for the Lesser Prairie-Chickens, stay for the company. Join the Oklahoma ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Council out on the open mesa and drink in the inspiring view. Greater Prairie-Chickens sometimes make an appearance, too.

International Migratory Bird Day
