WASHINGTON, D.C.--Congress is expected to vote on a massive year-end spending bill this Friday, which President Obama is expected to sign. Included in the legislation are various environmental victories. The ���Ĵ�ý issued the following statement:

“So Congress can agree on something: supporting the conservation priorities that all Americans care about,” said ���Ĵ�ý President and CEO David Yarnold. “From a temporary reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund to the proper funding of sage-grouse conservation plans, birds and their habitats got some short-term wins in this bill. That’s a good reminder that conservation doesn’t have a party, and we look forward longer-term solutions down the line.”
