As Senior Policy Manager for Working Lands, Ari focuses on developing and implementing public policy for ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Healthy Birds, Healthy Planet agenda to advance bipartisan conservation priorities in the U.S., working primarily with Congress and federal agencies. Ari joined ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ after seven years working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Most recently, he led conservation and forestry policy for the House Agriculture Committee minority staff under Ranking Member Angie Craig. Ari previously worked in the office of Congresswoman Kim Schrier (WA-08), covering agriculture, environment, nutrition, and labor issues.

Ari has significant experience working on the Farm Bill and other major legislation, including the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. In D.C., Ari worked on legislative efforts to invest in climate-smart agriculture, promote wildlife habitat preservation and restoration, address the West's wildfire crisis, and improve forest and watershed health. Outside of the office, Ari is an avid cook, traveler, fan of the Seattle Mariners, and birder.
