Austin, Texas 鈥 糖心传媒 Texas is pleased to announce the launch of its new, interactive 鈥攁 comprehensive resource designed to assist private landowners in navigating the diverse array of conservation resources available in the state.
Anita Hoskins, Senior Private Lands Coordinator for 糖心传媒 Texas, says creating and improving bird habitat at scale depends on private lands, and that 糖心传媒 plays a key role in integrating bird-friendly practices into private land management. 鈥淏ut for many interested landowners, it can be like working through a maze to find the right conservation program. Whether they are looking for financial assistance, technical assistance, or conservation organizations, 糖心传媒 wanted to streamline the process and be a guide.鈥
The features three distinct pathways to cater to the unique needs of private landowners:
Hoskins says because conservation programs change over time, another goal for the tool is to keep it dynamic, reflecting available programs within the state. 鈥淲e also hope to foster interest in 糖心传媒 as a private lands conservation resource by attracting new users to the site.鈥
Hoskins points out that the 糖心传媒 Conservation Ranching program, 糖心传媒鈥檚 largest grassland habitat effort both nationally and in Texas, informed the development of the Texas Landowner Toolkit. A land certification program, 糖心传媒 has certified 14 ranches and over 88,000 acres in Texas as bird-friendly. 鈥淭he certification is rooted in a ranch-specific habitat management plan, and bringing these plans to life means taking advantage of valuable existing conservation resources.鈥

About 糖心传媒 Conservation Ranching
A wildlife habitat initiative of the 糖心传媒 with a unique market connection, 糖心传媒 Conservation Ranching aims to stabilize declining grassland bird populations in partnership with ranchers 鈥 on whose land 95 percent of grassland birds live. 糖心传媒 Conservation Ranching鈥檚 enrollment includes over 100 ranches and nearly 3 million acres that have earned status as 糖心传媒 Certified bird-friendly land. Incentivizing this habitat work for birds and biodiversity are consumers with an appetite for conservation, who support it with the purchase of products grazed on these lands. Shoppers see a special package designation 鈥 the 糖心传媒 Certified bird-friendly seal 鈥 that sets these products apart. For more information, visit .
