Greenwich ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Center stewards seven sanctuaries and private parcels (totaling 686 acres) in Greenwich, including the Main Sanctuary (and ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Center) located at 613 Riversville Road. Our center opened its doors in 1943, as the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s first environmental education center, and has been welcoming visitors and serving as a leader in place-based nature education ever since.

Hardwood forests, open fields, a lake, streams, and vernal pools, as well as remnants of early homestead settlement, can be found at Greenwich ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Center's Main Sanctuary. In addition to its rich education programs, the center and staff coordinate ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s  work in Connecticut. ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Connecticut's offices are also located at our main center building—the .
